Nazanin Tankeli
NUFU Founder
I, Nazanin Tankeli, am 27-year-old Architectural Engineer, currently doing my master’s degree in Strengthening and Restoration of Historical Buildings at Iran’s Pars University of Architecture. I am also an architectural entrepreneur within the restoration of historical buildings and modern and classical architectural design. In 2018, I started an architectural design startup company by the name of Nufu architects in Tehran, Iran. I enjoyed this a lot, and little by little, we developed a spec I enjoyed this a lot, and little by little, we developed a specialized team for Patina architectural work. We have completed more than fifty separate projects of design, renovation, and implementation of Patina within both the modern and classical designs for new structures and renovation. On the side, I have also been conducting several specialized Patina workshops to teach the – rather forgotten – art to practitioners and recent graduates across Iran and in more than five cities.
